This is a $1 billion Public-Private Partnership (P3) to replace Doyle Drive and the entrance to the Golden Gate Bridge. This project includes design, construction, operation, maintenance, and financing of a seven lane limited access highway, two tunnels and a bridge for thirty years. The Presidio Parkway project is the first to make use of a 2009 law that allowed California DOT and regional transportation authorities to conduct PPPs.

CLIENT: Golden Link Partners (Hochtief PPP Solutions and Meridiam Infrastructure)

Transtec served as the LCCA and Pavement Advisor for the project. Transtec developed the reports which were then forwarded to the Lenders. All O&M strategies for the project were reviewed and confirmed by Transtec before bid submission. Transtec worked very closely with the Concessionaire to assure that all cost saving measures were considered for the concession period.
